The Bonsai Black Belt Academy is owned and run by Sensei Lydia Longville who is Chief Instructor at the club.
We ran our first ever Karate class on the 17th April 2012 from The Wordsley school gym hall. We then ran classes from a Church hall between 2013 and 2019 and officially opened the doors to our very own Dojo on the 29th July 2019 in Kingswinford.
We are a full time Karate Dojo also offering Ladies only Fitness classes. We also allow other Martial Arts and Fitness Instructors to teach their classes from our facility.
Chief Sensei Lydia has over 25 years experience in various Martial arts, and specialises in Sankukai Karate.
Classes are taught from our fully equipped Dojo where we offer affordable memberships for high quality training.
Karate students follow a set grade syllabus to ensure they truly earn their belts to a high standard.
Students learn in a welcoming environment where we bring out their potential, build their confidence, get them motivated with a positive mindset and help them on their journey to Black Belt and beyond. We give tonnes of support to each individual and you can be sure to feel that personal touch with plenty of encouragement along the way.
